ON THE LAKE SYNOD.
All is now set for the 1st Session of the 7th Synod of the Diocese On The Lake.
The Synod which theme is "Walking in His steps: Rediscovering the humility of Christ in today's Church"(Phili.2:5 -11) will commence on Thursday, 9th April, 2026 and climax on Sunday 12th April, 2026, at St. Matthias Anglican Church Nkwesi, Oguta LGA by 10am.
The Diocesan, His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Chijioke Benjamin Ndidiamaka Oti, PhD, will on Saturday, 11th April, 2026, 10am. present and launch his Charge while the thanksgiving/award service is on
Sunday, 12th April, 2026 by 10am.
As a matter of protocol, His Lordship is expected to pay a courtesy visit on HRM Eze Dele Amuzienwa Odigbo, Ezeigwe the 43rd of Nkwesi Ancient Kingdom.
We must commend the Venerable Kelechi Okparaeke-led Archdeaconry alongside Canon Anderson Harrison, Canon Ebenezer Onwuemebolam, Rev Callistus Obiechefu, Rev Nduka Opara, Rev Godspower Elukposi, Rev Ephraim Osuji and Evangelist Godswill Owereoma for their team work in the area of preparation.
Mention must also be made of Ven Charles Okwaraeze and Ven Kalu Mba for their dexterity in the area of organisation and co-ordination.
We salute all the Priests of the Diocese On The Lake for their efforts and pray God to reward each and every one of us.
