Following the APC release of schedule of activities and time table for 2027 general elections, the Executive Chairman of the Owerri-west LGA, Hon Chief Victor Nnamdi Osigwe, IKEOHA, has charged all APC faithful in the area, especially his Appointees, to gear up for the tasks ahead.
He spoke in his office at Umuguma during his periodical forum with his Appointees.
According to IKEOHA, " our efforts as APC faithful are seen and appreciated, therefore nobody should relent."
The Executive Chairman conceded that the system had not allowed peoples efforts to be appreciated but expressed contentment that the available resources have been effectively utilized.
He described the inception of a new party EXCO in the area as a good omen and urged his audience to always support the Chairman.
Ikeoha paid glowing tributes to the State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for maintaining what he called "constant administrative speed" in the governance of the State adding that he needed massive support to conclude what he had started.
Looking at the general elections time table, Hon Osigwe, intoned, "in all, the toughest election would be that of President Tinubu therefore we must gear up for the task ahead."
He called on representatives of Owerri extraction to be up and doing by initiating projects/programmes that would impact on the people.
He then thanked his Appointees for being on one page assuring that under his watch Owerri-west politics must be played with human face.
Speaking earlier while moderating, the SECLOG, Chief Sir Fidel Onyeneke commended the Council Chairman for always calling his Appointees together from time to time adding that effective communication builds relationship.
