IKEOHA ENCOURAGES CIVIL SOCIETIES.

On 2/6/26, the Executive Chairman of Owerri-west LGA, Chief Hon Victor Nnamdi Osigwe, IKEOHA, received in audience a Civil Society Group in his office.
The Group which identified itself as *Stand* *up* *for* *Women* *Initiative* was led by Liberator Ann Nwoke.
Speaking, Liberator Nwoke took out time to formally introduce the group and her activities to the Executive Chairman.
According to her, the group stands for social Justice and equity for the vulnerable women .
She later canvassed for bilateral relationship with the Council.
In his remarks, an elated Chief Hon Victor Nnamdi Osigwe, IKEOHA, said he was delighted to see them as their coming had expounded their societal engagements which included upbringing of the girl child and preaching the gospel of 'Women involvement in Politics'.
He then encouraged them to remain steadfast in their vision to build a better and safer society for the women and girl child.
Some appointees of the Executive Chairman were present on the occasion, among them the SECLOG Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke.
