OWERRI-WEST: OSIGWE MEETS PGs & CSOs.

The Executive Chairman, Owerri west LGA, Hon Chief Victor Nnamdi Osigwe, IKEOHA, has sued for a harmonious working relationship between the Town Union Presidents-General( PGs)and the Chief Security Officers(CSOs) in various domain.
The Council Boss who made the call in his office at a meeting with the two Parties restated that production of all PGs must be by election and not imposition.
Hon Osigwe urged the PGs to be fully in charge of their areas including knowing how the Youth and Women wings operate by way of oversight function.
He lamented the spate of insecurity in the area and commended the vigilante outfits in Owerri-west for break throughs in certain areas.
Responding to a question, the Executive Chairman advised that Communities should think outside the box to enhance the operations of vigilante in their areas warning that accountability should be their watch word.
Speaking on behalf of the attendees, the President of all Presidents-General, Hon Uchenna Ezekwe thanked the Executive Chairman for the forum which provided an opportunity for people to rub minds and chat a way forward.
Hon Ezekwe then urged all to go home and remain proactive especially in the area of security.
