*FATHER'S DAY; BISHOP OKEKE EULOGIZES FATHERS, CALLS FOR RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD*

The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Orlu, Rt. Rev'd. Dr. Benjamin Chinedum Okeke, JP has called on Fathers to remain committed in training their Children and ward in the nature and fear of God.

Bishop Okeke thanked the Almighty God for the invaluable role fathers play as spiritual leaders, providers, protectors, mentors, and pillars of strength within their families, the Church and society,
describing Fatherhood as sacred calling entrusted by God.


He reminded them that as Christian Fathers, they are called to reflect the love, wisdom, compassion, and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, stressing that their commitment to nurturing Godly homes, instilling Christian values in their children and serving as examples of integrity and righteousness is a blessing to both the Church and the nation.

Bishop Okeke maintained that in a world faced with many moral and social challenges, fathers are encouraged to remain steadfast in faith, fervent in prayer, and diligent in leading their families in the nature and fear of God.

He expressed the hope that God will guide the younger generation with wisdom, discipline, and love, raising them to become faithful disciples of Christ and responsible citizens.

As fathers are honoured today, the prelate prayed God to strengthen fathers in their responsibilities, bless the work of their hands, grant them good health, divine protection, and fill their homes with peace, joy and prosperity.
