The Umuozu, Umunam Atta Autonomous Community, Njaba LGA, Imo State, has inaugurated her Youth wing(The Umuozu Progressive Youth).
The occasion attracted very important dignitaries from the area including Chief Barr Uche Nwugo, Mr. Moses Uzoma (Umuozu Village Chairman), Pastor Chinonso Chukwumere (Umuozu Progressive Youth Chairman), Mrs. Constance Onyinyechi Ohanusi (Inauguration Chairman), Mr. Cajetan Nnanna (Umunam Community President General), and Igwe of Umunam, His Royal Highness Igwe Uchenna Onyeka.
Speaking during the occasion which took place at the Umuozu Umunam Atta Village square, the Njaba LGA Council, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe), dwelled much on the need for community development, assuring residents of the area of a secure environment.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Umuozu Progressive Youth, Pastor Chinonso Chukwumere promised to take the body to the next level and appealed for financial assistance to enable them execute some of their projects.

Highlight on occasion which theme was, "Stronger Together" which also reflected the community's unity in progress, was the presentation of an Award of Honour to Chief Vitalis Uchenna Obi (Etiokwe), Executive Chairman, Njaba Local Government, by the Umuozu Progressive Youth, for his commitment to community development as well as a fundraising drive for a Solar Pumping System to enhance water supply sustainability in the area.
