AVU MARKET/UMUAJALA ROAD COMMISSIONED.

It was jubilation as Avu people in Owerri-west hosted visitors at the commissioning of the 500 meter asphalted Avu market/ Umuajala road.
The said road was attracted by a son of the soil Engr Cyril Onyeneke.
Cutting the tape to commission the road, the Executive Chairman of Owerri-West, Hon Chief Victor Nnamdi OSIGWE, IKEOHA, Jp, expounded the importance of a good road network in communities just as it also attracts development.
He expressed joy at the spade of infrastructural development during his administration and commended Engineer Onyeneke for attracting the project.
Ikeoha then prayed God for the safety of the users of the road.
The Executive Chairman was accompanied by a retinue of his appointees and personalities among them Hon Dr Fidel Onyeneke(Seclog), the Leader of the Owerri-west legislative Council Hon Victor Olekaibe and Hon Joy Moses( Councillor for Ihiagwa) amongst others.
