SIR BASIL MADUKA'S NAME RESONATES AS IMO EAST SENATORIAL SEAT CAMPAIGNS HOTS UP.

As Politicians traverse all nooks and crannies galvanizing for supports, especially for the Imo East Senatorial seat, one personality whose name continues to resonate is Sir Basil Maduka of labour party.
Sir Basil Maduka who hails from Ezinihitte Mbaise is currently being projected as the best candidate when compared with his peers from other parties.
Exchanging views with Journalists in Owerri, the Director-General Sir Basil Maduka Campaign outfit, Hon Dr Kingsley Uneze, said statistical data from political surveys, in the zone, indicate that Sir Basil Maduka of Labour party is topping the chart.
According to Hon Dr Uneze, indices from all the nine local governments in the Senatorial zone, lean towards Sir Basil as the most experience having narrowly lost by whiskers for the same position in 2003.
He described his Principal as a " golden fish" who would certainly invest in humanbeings if given the opportunity to serve adding that presently he has the backing of the 9 local governments in the zone.
On the would be occupant of Imo Douglas House, the Campaign DG jokingly said, " let Ahiazu, Aboh and Ezinihitte produce Sir Basil Maduka for Senate while the Owerri federal Constituency produce the governor.
Meanwhile, arrangements have reached top gear for the flag off of the Labour party Imo East Senatorial campaign next month at the Aboh Mbaise stadium.
