HEARTLAND FC HUMBLES SMART CITY FC 3-1 IN OWERRI.

Last Saturday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, the Owerri based Heartland FC outsmarted the the Smart City FC 3-1 in match day 11 outing of the NNL.
Playing before a not too populated spectators, the Naze millionaires thrashed the visiting team 3-1.
The Heartland FC goals came courtesy of Erica Francis, Jonathan Osondu and Aina Oluwadamirare while Gafar Ojo reduced the tally for Smart City FC.
Addressing Sportswriters after the game, the Heartland FC Coach, Emma Amuneke described their opponents as a good side but quickly added that what was more important was the three points his team garnered.
With this result Heartland FC is now third on the NNL log.
