DON'T BLOCK COMMUTTERS RIGHT OF WAY- OSIGWE PLEADS.

The Executive Chairman of the Owerri-west LGA, Hon Chief Victor Nnamdi Osigwe, IKEOHA, Jp, has admonished commercial cyclists and traders at Avu junction to desist from blocking commutters right of way.
The Executive Chairman who got reports of the blockage at the close of work on 17/3/26, quickly drove down the site to forestall any unforeseen circumstances.
According to reports, the actions of the Cyclists and traders by virtue of wanting to ply their trades constituted illegal road blockage which caused accidents and traffic jam at that particular Avu junction.
Ikeoha in the course of his peaceful stance directed them to maintain orderliness and avoid road blocks going forward, adding that offenders would face severe punishments and sanctions.
It was not a speech making trip, however, commutters around commended the Executive Chairman, Hon Osigwe, for his timely intervention.
He went with a near complete squad of his details, among them the SECLOG, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke, Hon Oliver Emenyonu(SA, Special Duties), Prince Chibueze Oparaocha(SA Protocol/Operations) and Hon Kelechi Onyeka and Hon Kachison Ekwugha(Media Aides).
Others were Emeka Okwu (Vigilante Commander) and Hon Mrs Sadiatu Yahaya( SA, Hausa Community).
